This is the branding of Lumi, a candle company. This was created with two other people, Alaa and Ella.
The idea of the logo.
We had a bit of an issue with the logo because we wanted something simple, yet something original. When we came up with the idea to make the “i” as a candle, or the flame, we decided that was it. Thus, in the long run, we face another issue, the icon. We didn’t want an icon because the logo fit the best by itself and adding an icon would fight with the design of the logo. Therefore, when creating the website, we faced the icon problem, but we came up with a great idea. We use the flame as an icon, like when the logo needed to be small, we would use the flame, and it would still fit with your logo.
Then, the colours. Our best matching colours are red and yellow, which will be found at other places in our brand, like the envelope. The inside pattern was something we wanted and it is when we created this pattern, which is the flame of the “i”.
Then the rest was easier, we created gift cards and their holder, business cards and many others.
